Photo Essay

I started the photo essay because I wanted to leave memory of the camp in KMLA. I will never forget this fun camp.

I took a picture at the Korean Minjok Leadership Academy.The picture was a old house. The color of the house was dark brown. There was a lot of windows attached on the house. The house was so big that I almost could not take a picture in the phone. The tile looked so good because it was black. The background of the house was a sky with many clouds. The house was shiny because there was a Sun shining at the back of the house. The house was made of wood. The house was hard as a rock and looked as if it will be still there for thousand years. The smell of the house was so fresh that I wanted to live there.                                   

I took a picture at the Korean Minjok Leadership Academy. There was a pond back of the summerhouse. There was Jonathan and me. The summerhouse was made by tree. In the summerhouse, there was breeze passing by. There was a shade that let us rest. There was a huge tree behind us. The smell of the tree was so fresh, I wanted to come there every morning. I would never forget this place during the GLPS.              

I took a  picture of a lamp in the camp beside the D building. It was a one bright day. It looked very rusty. There was a huge tree behind the lamp. The lamp was black. It was so hard. It smelled just like a metal and bunch of sweat. The lamp was brightest at night and made us see the road well. I thought about lamps again at this camp.

    I took a picture of a rock at the next of the Dasan building. It was made of rock. It smelled like nothing. It was so hard that nobody could crash it with hand. There was Korean written on the slate. It was square.There was a bunch of grass in the background.

I took a picture of a flowers in front of the Dasan building.  I was green. It  smelled fresh. The flowers looked so wonderful that I wanted to take it to my home forever. It was soft and there was bugs.

I could see some dirt behind the grass.

Creative Writing

When superman was young

When Super man was 12 years old, he was suffering because of his school bullies.

He always prayed at the school gym to find the way to get rid of his school bullies.

one day, after his prayer, he opened the door and the door was broken. When he was going back to home, he kicked a rock and there was a hole on the Iron door.

He realized that he got a superpower. Next day, He destroyed all the school bullies and saved the victims of bullies. But one of the bullies had a super power too. Super man didn't wanted to hurt innocent people so he suggested the bully to fight at the Colosseum.

They destroyed a part of the Colosseum and this is why the Colosseum is almost torn apart. At last, Superman...

Movie Review

I watched a movie called 'the Wizard of Oz'. The movie's genre was fantasy. The main characters was Tin Man, Scarecrow, Dorothy, Toto, the Wizard of Oz, the Lion and the witch. It was about Dorothy who lives in Kansas meets tornado and falling into Munchkin Land with her house. She kills the bad witch and gets the magic ruby slippers. The white witch tells Dorothy to go to see the Great Wizard of OZ. While she travels to the Castle of Oz, she meets Scarecrow (who wants to have a brain) hanging on the stick and saves himself. Next, they find the Tin Man (who wants to get a heart) saving himself by spraying the oil pump. Lastly, she meets Lion (who wants to be brave). After they goes to the Castle of Oz, he tells them to kill the Evil Witch of the West. Going to the witch's castle, Dorothy gets captured and goes to the witch's castle. But her friends come to help her and rescue Dorothy. However, the witch figures this out and captures them again and puts a fire on scarecrow. Dorthy pours water to scarecrow and the witch. The witch suddenly melts and disappears. After they come back to the Castle of Oz, they find out that Oz is not a wizard. But, he solves all the problem without Dorothy's. And the white witch teaches Dorothy how to use the slippers and Dorothy returns home by teleporting with the slippers. I like this movie because this movie tells lots of lessons to us. For example, home is the best place.

My three goals

I want to improve English skills at GLPS camp. How? I will study hard to improve my English skills and concentrate at English class.

Also, I want to become strong at GLPS camp. I am going  climb hills of GLPS camp every day and, eat a lot of rice to get healthy.


Lastly, I will eat all of breakfast, lunch, dinner at GLPS camp.
I will not eat anything before you eat  breakfast, lunch, dinner and, use many energy as you can to become hungry and eat a lot food.

My name is Seo Gang Young. My English name is Nathan. I'm from Korea. I am in the 6th grade. I came to GLPS camp because my mom said that GLPS camp is the best camp in Korea. I like soccer. I like to eat chicken and grapes. My favorite subjects are math and English.
